Hand in hand, heart to heart,
they say true friendship is a loving art.
My friend and I, will plan together,
to have a fun day, no matter the weather.
Yesterday was great, with memories galore.
Tomorrow has promise, and room for more.
It’s today that’s important, we must not forget.
For it’s the opportunity we share,
that may be the best one yet.
So my friend and I, with optimism and hope,
will make it safely through the day,
having confidence we can cope.
