The first, to what I remember, is an intense darkness around me, sometimes the place was, where I was wet and at other moments, I felt a pleasant warmth that came from above. I swelled up, until something broke in my exterior and I noticed, that on the one hand, pulled out a small white dot down and another of the same color looked up the heat and felt, that there was something special.

Time passed and my small arm, went down, grew more arms to spread around and make the foot, to give a good fit to the brother who moved to the top. He had arrived at the surface and was delighted with the beautiful view, it was no longer Finster, there was a great brightness and heat, of a beautiful yellow, shiny ball went out, which was located high up in the middle of a lot of blue. My small branch, went back to top, had turned green and small leaves in the same color sprouts out. After several hours, the heat disappeared and everything went dark, almost like before the emergence and the small leaves joined, we went to sleep. On other days, it was not warm and there was water on the Earth, my little arms then drank eagerly down to quench my thirst.

More time passed and my little branch had already reached a considerable height, other branches grown from my center and lots of green leaves, which, as always,, closed every night to sleep. I saw other trees around me, but they were not as green as I, they were covered with beautiful yellow-orange flowers, similar to the great circle warming, stood up and said we owed our daily growth. The showy flowers in the neighboring trees attracted many birds, merrily sang and created an enchanted environment.

Every day I look at me, I grew up, I had more branches, more green leaves, but no flowers, and therefore were not birds, to sing in my branches. Why I had no flowers? My family was just as, as that of the other trees, my branches and leaves were similar, the leaves of the neighboring trees also joined in the night, to sleep. Even under the earth my roots were those of the neighboring trees similar, they were strong and spread throughout the region, so that sometimes we touched us, I liked this contact with my neighbors below ground. So why I had no flowers?

Some years passed, but I still had no flowers, while my neighbors were so covered with them, that you only saw the orange color, you almost did not see any green leaves in between and they were full of songbirds. My only consolation was, to see the children, it enjoyed playing under my shadow, or a couple, that sat at my feet, to cool off on hot summer days.

It was a very dry season, it never fell more water from the sky, Our roots were thirsty and dug deeper into the earth, to find any trickle, under stones and rocks. My neighbors had lost their beautiful flowers and I mean music, we all thought, that we would completely dry up, what luck, that we had so hardworking roots, found every day a few drops, who helped us survive.

There came a day, as the heat was unbearable, we exhausted our last water reserves, in order not to completely dry up.
