Das Kanaren-Silberkraut (Lobularia canariensis) is a species of the genus of herbs Silver (Lobularia).
The Canaries-silver herb is a perennial, krautige Pflanze. The is crowded gray-white, fluffy hairy and often woody at the base. The leaves are linear-lanceolate with a blunt tip and edge ganzrandigen.
The racemose inflorescence is many flowered. The small flowers are fourfold. The sepals are green, sometimes with a black tip. The four pure white petals are ganzrandig. The fruits are small, almost round or ovoid, flattened Silicules.
This species is widespread in all Canary Islands; three subspecies are also found in the Cape Verde Islands and the Selvagens.
Auf den Kanaren ist sie lokal auf trockenem, steinigem Boden in Höhenlagen bis 1000 Metern sehr häufig. Selten findet sie sich auf bewaldeten Klippen bis 1250 Meter, vor allem in der Gegend um Aguamansa auf Teneriffa.
Pflanzensoziologisch gehört die Art zur Klasse der Sukkulentengebüsche trockener, flachgründiger Orte (Kleinio neriifolii-euphorbietea canariensis).
