I was having lunch, one fine day,
Just before going out to play.

When what to my stunned surprise,
I looked up into two hungry eyes.

Our family dog was sitting there
From whence he came, I knew not where.

Should he be given permission to eat?
Did he simply want a mid day treat.

I should ask mommy, what comes next.
Or just ignore him as a pest.

Oh well I’ll simply give him some.
It ‚l be alright, since he is not a bum

Ich war beim Mittagessen, eines schönen Tages,
Gerade vor dem Ausgehen zum spielen.

Als ich zu meiner erstaunten Überraschung,
in zwei hungrige Augen blickte.

Unser Familienhund saß da
Woher er kam, wusste ich nicht.

Sollte er die Erlaubnis zum essen bekommen haben?
Wollte er einfach nur ein halbtages Genuss.

Ich werde Mama fragen, was als nächstes komm...

The sleep of an angel
is the sweetest of all.
When it is that of a child,
it holds us in thrall.

Those memories thus born,
are a lifetime of dreams.
For we can conquer our fears,
or so it doth seems.

Der Schlaf eines Engel
ist der süßeste von allen.
Wenn es der eines Kindes ist,
hält er uns in Atem.

Diese Erinnerungen so geboren,
sind ein Leben lang Träume.
Denn wir können unsere Ängste erobern,
oder so scheint es doch.

There is so much to see, and so much to do,
there’s not a moment to waste

and be better today, efficient,
with no need for haste.

The proof of our union,
will be the laughter we share,
regardless of how the games end
It will be the foundation of the joy that we feel,
and the friendship on which we depend.

So let us go now, and smile through the day,
I feel that today will be grand.
What memories we will make,
and what times we will share, as we stroll,
hand in hand.

jetzt ist mein Tag komplett
Und jetzt können wir spielen,
den Rest des Tages,
ohne Bedarf ihn zu ...

The day has begun, I wish to see,
all that has happened, and is yet to be.
By simply removing that which can hide,
I now have full access, from side to side

I am but one child, but a happy one too,
May I wish the same, for each one of you
We can choose a bright outlook, or remain in the gloom.
The world is immense, with plenty of room

My hope for the world, is to always choose light,
for It makes the very best contrast, matched to night.
Our challenges await us, there’s no turning back,
for it’s only the right attitude, that we may still lack

Thank you for being here, to lighten my day,
May you find what you seek, I hope and I pray.
For nothing but the best, is yours to command,
It is as simple as extending your very own hand.

It seemed that no way was offered to me, to be happy once more and amused

Then suddenly an Angel, lifted me high, and gave me both solace and ease
Holding me close to her breast I was calmed, her breath as warm as a breeze

Perhaps there is hope for one such as I, born at an inopportune place
I do pray that others, who share my affliction, will have their troubles erase

My thanks to you all, who  generously act, as if I was your very child
In memory perhaps, of the One long ago had, a Love so tender and mild.

My parents must have often wondered ,of what they had to do.

I know that God provides, for every living thing.
