There’s magic in fours, eights and twelves.
We’ve no one to depend on, but ourselves.
There’s no one to give us any latitude,
so we’ll start our journey of success with a positive attitude.

We have been with each other all of our days,
we have become very accustomed to each other’s quirks and ways.
No matter the challenge, we’ll find the solution.
For we trust and respect each other’s constitution.

So put us to the test, we’re ready and we’re willing.
There’s plenty of good works, that require fulfilling.
The four of us know, we’ve spent our youth learning.
that nothing can withstand our strong ambition burning.

to their everlasting sorrow.

macht dass die Schrecken der Nacht

we discover folks who everyday
appreciate the earth,

but warm arms to enfold

Ein Kontinent entfernt,

Meet my friend, a little calf,
he makes me feel useful, and makes me laugh.
He needs to eat, and I am ready,
as long as he is calm, and my right arm is steady

I got a small scrape, but it doesn’t hurt,
his needs are much greater, so I stay alert.
I feel important, but just a little,
for I am responsible, and he’s in the middle

My mother is proud, and so is my dad,
for this is my chance, to be more than just bad.
As I am growing, so is this calf,
Soon he’ll be bigger, then who will last laugh.

Tomorrow is coming, with chores that are new,
So I cannot stay long, talking to you.
So wish me Godspeed, and good fortune plenty,
Who knows what I will be, when I become 20.

Der Himmel war noch nie höher,

Möge der Beginn eines neuen Morgens,

I’m here at the beach, in my favorite chair
It’s always so comfortable, it goes everywhere

Secure and content, I recommend to you
To find something similar, and treasure it too.

A beating heart, that gives warmth and gives Love
Like a guardian angel, sent from above

As the Sun always sets, in the horizon so fair
I reflect on my blessings, far beyond any compare

is a One Year Old, looking forward to Two.
